目薬さす時無意識に口を開けてしまう	When I apply eyedrops, I can't help but open my mouth

石ケンがすり減って小さくなったら	When my bar of soap starts to run out,
新しい石ケンの上にはりつける	I stick it on top of a new bar of soap to save it
お風呂にお湯を入れようと蛇口をひねったが	When I tried to fill up the bath, I accidentally twist the nozzle,
シャワーに切り替えてありずぶ濡れになるぅ～	and turn it into shower mode and got myself completely wet
シャンプー使い終わると中ブタ外し	When my shampoo bottle runs out, I remove the lid,
お湯入れ振って使い切る小市民	and I pour a bunch of water in it, swish it around, and use the rest. A commoner indeed.
わかっちゃいるけどやめられない	I understand, but I can't help it
あーやめられない	Aaa, I can't help it.
オシボリの袋開けるときにパーンッと音させる	When I open a hot towel bag so that it makes sound like "PAN!"

ストローの袋でゲジゲジ作って水たらす	I like to crinkle up straw covers and pour water on them

アーモンドチョコをなめてアーモンドだけにして食べる	I lick the chocolate off a chocolate almond, then eat the clean almond by itself

ミカンにちっちゃな子供のみかんがついてるとうれしい	I like pairing a big orange with a little baby orange because it makes me happy

サトイモの煮っこがしをハシでとろうとして	I try to grab Taro boiled in broth with chopsticks
ツルっと滑ると「これ生きてる」と	and when it slips away, I joke "It's alive!"

食堂に入るとソースのビンとしょう油のビンを	When I enter the dining hall, I differentiate the regular sauce and soy sauce bins
ニオイでたしかめる	by smelling them
紅白歌合戦を見ないと一年が	If I miss the NYE Red and White singing contest,
終わった気がしない小市民	I feel like the year hasn't truly ended. A commoner indeed.
連想ゲームを家族で見ていて	When I watch the Word Game on TV with my family
「答えが消えたら言って」と目をつむっている	I close my eyes and say, "Tell me when the answer's gone"
ゴミ箱にティッシュを投げて入らないと	When I throw a tissue and it misses the trash can,
元の位置に戻って入るまで投げる	I pick up the tissue, go back and try throwing it again
違うチャンネルでたまたま同じＣＭが	Sometimes, the same commercial shows up on different channels
流れているとうれしい小市民	and when it happens, that makes me happy. A commoner indeed.
天気予報を聞こうとしてデンワして	I try calling the weather forecast service (#177),
時報を聞いてしまう小市民	and accidentally call the time service (#117), and can't help but listen to it. A commoner indeed.
わかっちゃいるけどやめられない	I understand, but I can't help it
